From around 8am today around 500 people from all over the country, including BKL representatives, farmers, motodops, tuk tuk drivers, friends and family, joined the International Environment Celebrations. Wearing animal face masks and T-shirts featuring images of the late Chut Wutty the group gathered at the National Assembly. Lotus flowers in hand, the group then walked around the area before re-grouping at the National Assembly to talk about Prey Lang and preservation of natural resources, and to sing songs about the threatened forest.
At around 9.30am the group started to march again, stopping to sing land and freedom songs to Free the 15!. The action ended with a press conference outside the Royal Palace.
